2020 Outstanding Young Civil Engineer - Private Sector
The 2020 Outstanding Young Civil Engineer – Private Sector award was presented to Amanda Tanaka at the ASCE Western Regional Younger Member Council on January 25, 2020 in San Francisco, California. This award recognizes a younger member who has demonstrated leadership potential in private sector civil engineering.

2019 Young Engineer of the Year Award
Amanda Tanaka was awarded the 2019 Young Engineer of the Year Award by the Hawai'i Council of Engineering Societies on February 23, 2019. Amanda was nominated for her outstanding work as a champion for the advancement of the civil engineering profession. She is an active member of ASCE where she has held several officer positions and committee chairs, and is active with other professional groups.
