Experience Summary:
Mr. Chen's specialty is in hydraulics by computer modelings.  At Fukunaga & Associates, Inc., Mr. Chen has worked on the planning and design of water and wastewater systems, most notably the Long-Range Sewer Rehabilitation Plan and its supplemental programs for the City and County of Honolulu.  Other projects include an Island-Wide Salinity Study for the City & County of Honolulu Sewerage System to identify locations of major infiltration in the system, sewer system evaluations for the Army Corps of Engineers and the privately owned Hawaii Kai Sewer System on Oahu, Maui Wastewater Collection System Hydraulic Model, Kapiolani Area Revised Sewer System, Kaneohe Bay Drive Tunnel Sewer Reconstruction, Foster Village Sewer Rehabilitation and Reconstruction.  Recent assignments include Spill Contingency Plans and Spill Response Procedures Manual Updates for wastewater facilities of the City and County of Honolulu.
